Exposing “corrupt” FBI probe could be “crowning achievement” of the presidency says, Donald Trump

Trump said in an exclusive interview for hill.tv:” If I did one mistake with  James Comey, I should have fired him before I got here. I should have fired him the day I won the primaries.”

On Tuesday Trump ordered the release of classified documents about the Russian collusion case to show everyone that FBI probe started as a “hoax”, and that exposing this could become one of the “crowning achievement” of his presidency.

“I hope to be able to call this, along with tax cuts and regulation and all the things I have done …. In its own way this might be the most important thing because this was corrupt,” Trump said.

James Comey was fired in May 2017. In the latest interview, James Comey revealed, that Trump was trying to fire him before he became president.

Donald Trump has offered different reasoning for why he wanted to fire FBI chief, he was blaming Comey’s handling in the Clinton case but as well linking Comey’s actions in the Russian investigation.
